Investigators say two armed assailants walked straight up to the security booth, opened fire, and then vanished into the night, along with two firearms that were supposed to be secured on-site. A swift police response led officers to two teenage suspects not far from the scene, and Scenes of Crime personnel recovered spent shells and live rounds as evidence. Pineda, fortunately, is now in stable condition, but with charges of attempted murder and firearm theft on the table, investigators are now working to piece together what motivated the brazen attack.<\/p>\n
